COVID-19 Update

Snappy's Automotive is excited to announce that we are now operating at full capacity with normal operating hours Monday-Friday from 8-6 and Saturdays from 9-2. We are continuing to wear masks in the front office but do not currently require them for entry-although they are appreciated. We do have masks available upon request for guests as well.
At Snappy's we are committed to the safety and well-being of all our guests and family. Additional cleanings have been implemented in common areas, as well as the addition of our NO CONTACT secure pick-up box. As always, if additional accommodations are needed we are happy to help!

  • This is Keith P. Desperate for new brakes on my 2010 Lexus, called & scheduled late Friday. Dropped the car off at 5:30 and 9:30 the next morning was informed what was needed. Job was done well and professionally by 2:00 pm. Very pleased with the urgency to complete the job as well as the frequent communication. They fixed my brakes and made it Snappy!

  • I never take my car to a mechanic I work on my cars myself but I recently dropped my 07 Saab 9-3 off to be scanned because of stalling issues Kim and Brooke kept me updated the whole way unfortunately we couldn't come to a conclusion on the issue but they gave me a code sheet and I'm working my way down on it. I seriously seriously appreciate them looking at it without charging me that meant alot to me if I ever have to take any of my cars there I'll feel safe knowing they're in good hands!, Please come here as apposed to the "other choices" in town!

  • My truck broke down on the way home to Virginia. Not knowing the area, AAA recommended Snappy's Automotive, so that is where I had it towed. Spoke to Brooke the next morning, she said they would be able to fit me in that afternoon. Received a call about 1:30 pm with the details of the problem and the cost to fix it.   • Snappy's is amazing! I wasn't sure what was wrong with my car, and I was scared because this problem was disabling me from driving safely on the road. Snappy's did an inspection found what was wrong, fixed it, and I was good to go within a few hours. My total bill was cheaper than my friends, the internet, and other auto shops told me it would be. So, I had amazing service, amazing technicians explaining everything to me so I wasn't confused or scared, and it was cheaper than the competitors. I will always go to Snappy's now! Everyone should!

  • OK, so cars kind of freak me out. I don't know what's working properly nor do I understand what's going wrong. And while some shops might take advantage of my naiveté, Snappy's never does. They carefully explain what needs done, then set about doing it. Whether it's routine maintenance, minor repairs, or fixing larger issues with my aging vehicle with more than 130,000 miles logged, they never let me down. They are fair, thoughtful, and considerate. And they have mad skills. I recommend them to my friends, and they also describe satisfaction with their experiences. See for yourself.

  • The best place!!!! They helped me out of a lot of jams. They even let me use those loaner car!! I can’t say enough nice things about these people. Smart and helpful. Just all round great experience. No one likes to take their vehicle in to the shop but this place gives you piece of mind that it will be fixed and fixed right. They let me know about a potential issue also. Also their waiting room is stocked with WiFi and drinks and snacks.

  • I highly recommend Snappys Automotive! My Yukon Denalli engine overheated with a busted heater hose and I had to pull over in the Walmart parking lot. I called several shops close to my proximity and no one could get my vehicle serviced the same day. I needed my vehicle repaired the same day since I am located out of state. Snappy was one of the shops I called and the lady that answers was very professional and she was willing to work with me. She put me on hold to ask someone if they could get me in and she gave me the wonderful news that they could take care of me the same day! I brought my vehicle in and the process was smooth. I left the vehicle there and they replaced the heater hose even though you could tell they were very busy since the parking lot was full. I couldn't be any happier with the service. The two ladies that I spoke with were very customer friendly and very courteous. The waiting room was very clean and organized. They even have snacks and drinks for their customers. The restroom was very clean. My little daughter played with the LEGO's they had set in a small kids activity table. The tech that serviced my denalli did a great job. The price for the repair was very reasonable, considering that they had to get the hose from the GMC dealership since it was a special part.   • I have used them for my last two car issues. They are always up front and honest. They do a great job at keeping you informed if what's going on with your vehicle... It beats sitting around wondering whats going on. Kim is great! The owner also even offered me one of their last popsicles because of the heat. Really feel like I have a "go to" mechanic now. Nick is very knowledgeable and explain s things well related to your vehicle.

  • I had an appointment at a another mechanic shop to get my car aligned. However when I arrived they told me I had been double booked and asked if they could reschedule. I was unable to do so because I was taking a car trip the next day. I started googling for tire alignment places in Delaware and came across snappys. From the moment they answered the phone they seemed to be genuinely caring about my situation and told me that even though they were busy if I came they would take care of me as soon as possible. And they meant it! The staff was friendly and courteous and kept me up today on my car situation. There were refreshments and a nice lounge area. They also had free Wi-Fi! I've never left a review for an establishment because I never felt it necessary and till today period from now on any time I need mechanic work that can't be done by a close family friend will definitely be done here!   • I have been going to Snappys for the past 4 years with multiple cars, and they have always been up front and honest. They offer different solutions for problems, and get the work done efficiently and effectively. I recently took a car in, and they let me know that the engine had seized up and that it was probably not worth fixing due to the car being so old. I was easily able to scrap it next door at the metal scrap yard. Their new shop is super clean, they offer complimentary beverages and snacks. Nick knows what he is doing, and is easy to talk to. His wife who runs the front is so nice, and you can tell she really cares about her customers. I would recommend anyone to Snappys, and wont take my car anywhere else.

  • Snappy's always takes good care of me whether it's a simple oil change or major repair (and I've had my share). They have recently upgraded to much larger facility that is clean and well kept. The waiting room is staffed with a TV, complementary cold drinks and snacks. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to provide good service. Snappy's is my "go to" repair shop in Delaware.
