Snappy's Automotive allowed me to provide my own parts, and they took care of the labor. After Snappy's changed the front struts, I noticed a new grinding noise in the front end. Snappy's took another look at it for free and talked with me about how they had previously done the work. It turned out to be a coincidence. I had noticed a growling sound for several months that I assumed was the tires. They found that the passenger side integrated wheel end, which requires vacuum to engage and release 4WD was stuck. The grinding noise also went away when I turned on 4WD, so I felt good about the diagnosis. Snappy's was able to replace the both IWEs the next day to get my truck back in business.
